Click on map markers to zoom the map or to get information about a feature. You can also click on one of the search tabs to search for features. Visit the our announcements page for more information on the new site design. The new site includes links to metagenome studies that have occurred at several geothermal springs, including the YNP metagenome project (published in Frontiers in Microbiology ) and other detailed reports on integration of –omic technologies in phototrophic mats. Addition of new links to metagenome studies is encouraged, as well as addition of geochemical data for specific features. Numerous geothermal features in YNP have been surveyed by the USGS, and although some of these data sets are available through this site, numerous locations have not been archived here. Many of these are available through the USGS .
